Ideal for aerospace, medical, and electronics parts, the new dense dole VacuMate™ is the next generation vacuum table from Datron Dynamics. It is designed to swiftly and efficiently secure flat thin workpieces that have very little surface area. Thin stock can now be secured literally within seconds, ready for machining operations. For example, users can quickly secure plastic foils as thin as 0.001 in to 0.250 in large aluminum sheets. Here's how it works: This new generation vacuum table features four times as many airflow-optimized vacuum ports as Datron's first generation vacuum table. It's a denser pattern. With recessed vacuum chambers that provide superior vacuum distribution, the dense hole VacuMate can secure small workpieces without customizing the vacuum table. A low cost gas-permeable substrate serves as a vacuum diffuser, allowing the cutter to machine through the workpiece, without cutting into the table. Each VacuMate™ module measures 12 in x 18 in and can be combined to measure a total of 24 in x 36 in. www.datrondynamics.com
