These chucks for OD, ID, and face grinding and turning operations range in size from 6 in to 16 in diameters (150 mm to 40 mm) and low profiles from 2.2 in to 2.9 in (57 mm to 75 mm). Custom sizes are also available. Common workpieces ideally suited for these chucks are ring shaped parts such as bearing races. What is unique about SAV's radial pole chucks is that they feature a solid top plate comprised of steel and brass material, providing greater rigidity and less wear than the typical epoxy-based radial pole chucks available. These chucks offer a uniform holding force of 145 lb/in2 (100N/cm2). They have the capacity to have a central through-hole. www.sav-workholding-na.com
