The Cleveland Steel Tool Company (Cleveland, OH) celebrated their 100 year anniversary on May 21st with a festive Open House for customers, vendors, current and past employees and their families, and local dignitaries. Over 200 people joined the festivities, which included a heartfelt speech from the current President, Mr. Mark Dawson, and the presentation of proclamations from representatives of several levels of local and state governmental agencies.
From the State of Ohio and Governor Ted Strickland, a proclamation was received, which reads in part: ?In the name and by the Authority of the State of Ohio, Ted Strickland Governor of Said State hereby officially recognizes the Cleveland Steel Tool Company for its 100th Anniversary. On behalf of all Ohioans, I am proud to honor this historic anniversary of one of Ohio?s great Companies?Cleveland Steel Tool has made the Greater Cleveland Area, and all of Ohio, a better place to live and work. Best wishes in all future endeavors!?
Cleveland Steel Tool also received, from the Congressional Office of Representative Stephanie Tubbs Jones, a proclamation that reads in part: ?A Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition, to commemorate and celebrate this exemplary Business Operation at this historic juncture, the 100th Anniversary of the Cleveland Steel Tool Company?on behalf of the members of the United States Congress and the citizens of the Eleventh Congressional District, It is my pleasure to? recognize Cleveland Steel Tool ?for 100 years of business operations?It is my hope and expectation that The Cleveland Steel Tool Company will continue to thrive and experience success for another one hundred years and beyond.?
