Master Chemical Corporation is expanding its presence in Southeast Asia with the opening of Master Chemical Fluid Solutions Philippines, Inc., in Metro Manila. "The Philippine economy is one of the newly industrialized emerging market economies of the world and is the fastest growing economy in Southeast Asia," said Chairman and CEO, Joe H.
Wright. "This is a natural opportunity for us because of the proximity of the Philippines to other Southeast Asian countries like Thailand and Malaysia, where we already have a presence and are doing a lot of business," he stated.
Master Chemical, known as the originator of coolant recycling, traces its history back more than half a century and has offices in North America, Europe, and Asia. According to Mr. Wright, Master Chemical can help impact customer profitability by cutting costs with coolant management systems and recycling equipment; providing training to ensure cost reductions when recycling systems are used; lowering waste-related expenditures through recycling; reducing hauling and shipping charges; and lessening energy usage in metalworking and cleaning. "Managing coolants effectively and proactively can improve manufacturing processes and lower cost," said Mr. Wright.
Master Chemical Fluid Solutions Philippines, Inc. is located in Muntinlupa City, which is the southernmost city in Metro Manila and considered one of the most progressive cities in the country. "There are many large manufacturers here, like NIDEC, Fujitsu, Texas Instruments, Panasonic, as well as car manufacturers and other high tech firms," said District Sales Manager, Dexter Ancheta. "We have already been working with a Manila-based manufacturing customer for the past year," he said. According to Mr. Ancheta, Master Chemical Fluid Solutions Philippines, Inc. is planning to add warehouse space to serve prospective customers' needs in the near future. The Philippines has a good work force, a good reputation and a growing economy of industry that can use Master Chemical's help," he stated. "We are very optimistic about the potential for growth here," he concluded. For Master Chemical Fluid Solutions Philippines, Inc. contact information, visit http://www.2trim.us/2008-06-25t.php.
