Elobau Sensor Technology Inc. (Lake Bluff, IL), a leading German manufacturer of machine and safety sensors and controls, announced the introduction of its new distributor program, aimed at building the company?s North American market penetration into OEM?s and end users alike. The announcement was made by U.S. general manager for the company, François Mortier. Mr. Mortier heads up the company?s North American headquarters, located in Lake Bluff, IL, just outside Chicago.

Elobau is a major supplier to the European market of non-contacting sensor technology. In addition to a broad range of machine and vehicle safety sensors plus control devices such as industrial-grade joysticks, Elobau also provides application-specific engineered solutions for machine/vehicle builders, systems integrators and end users of various equipment categories.

The company?s extensive product offerings include machine safety switches, as well as proximity, speed, position, rotary and inclination sensors, electronic joysticks and aceessories, plus a complete line of liquid and dry level sensing and measurement devices.

"Elobau is currently establishing a network of preferred distributors and manufacturers? representatives for our machine safety range, including magnetic switches, safety interlocks, safety relays, emergency stops and other products in our line,? said François Mortier in making the announcement. ?We?re excited at the possibilities of expanding beyond our already established customer base to explore new market and continued sales growth for our company,? he concluded.

Elobau is a vertically integrated manufacturer that performs all circuit and cable assembly, plastic molding, end product fabrication and full performance testing at its factories.
