Thermadyne Industries, Inc. (St. Louis, MO), recently honored Cee Kay Supply, one of its leading distributors, on Cee Kay?s 60th anniversary.
Cee Kay is the largest, independent supplier of industrial gases, welding and cutting equipment and supplies in Missouri. It has seven retail locations in Missouri and Illinois.
In recognition of the many contributions made by Cee Kay to the advancement of the welding industry, Thermadyne Executive Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing Martin Quinn, presented Cee Kay President Tom Dunn, with an abstract sculpture created by St. Louis local artist Brother Melvin Meyer, S.M.
"We are proud of our relationship with Cee Kay and congratulate the company for its many great successes,? said Quinn. ?Cee Kay does an outstanding job of educating, training and serving the needs of end users, and we look forward to many, many more years of working with its representatives.?
Brother Mel is a graduate of both the University of Dayton and the University of Notre Dame. He joined the Marianists (Society of Mary) in 1947, and works in a variety of media. All of the welding and gas supplies that Brother Mel uses for his works come from Cee Kay. Many of Brother Mel's sculptures are created from donated scrap materials.
