Absolute Machine Tools offers the MDV-551-5AX, a 5-axis trunnion-type VMC suitable for manufacturers in the aerospace, medical, mold/die and other precision industries. It accommodates workpieces from 26 in. in diameter up to 15 in. tall. The MDV-551-5AX features 1,575 ipm rapids, a 12,000 rpm integral spindle, and a unique roller cam drive for the tilt/rotate axes that delivers high speeds and excellent rigidity, according to the company.
