XSpect Solutions/Wenzel Appoints New Regional Sales Director

Xspect Solution/Wenzel (Wixom, MI) president Keith Mills has announced the appointment of Rick Johnson as the new regional sales director for the northeast region of States.

Mr. Johnson comes to Xspect Solutions from Comau, Inc. where he worked for thirteen years, primarily as the director of the former PICO Assembly and Test Division. He had also served as the sales director for PICO?s Tier I customers. Before that, Mr. Johnson had worked for ten years at DEA, the Italian CMM manufacturer, as director of operations prior to its acquisition by Brown & Sharpe, Inc. He holds two engineering degrees. First, a Mechanical Engineering degree from Michigan Technology University. Second an Electrical Engineering degree from Lawrence Technological University. He and his family reside in Jamestown, Rhode Island.

In this new regional sales director position, Mr. Johnson will be responsible for all new Wenzel CMM, GearTec Gear Measuring Machine, OpenDMIS software and Xspect Solutions rebuilt and remanufactured CMM sales in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
