Taylor Hobson (Leicester, England) announced Craig Howarth has been named Managing Director of Taylor Hobson and a Division Vice President of AMETEK Ultra Precision Technologies. He joins Taylor Hobson from Hanovia, where he had been Managing Director for the UV-based water disinfection equipment manufacturer.
"Craig is an excellent addition to our management team,? notes Bruce Wilson, Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK Ultra Precision Technologies. "He has an excellent technical background and extensive management experience. He will play a key role as we continue to grow our international customer base.?
Prior to Hanovia, Mr. Howarth had been Business Director for Malvern Instruments, a manufacturer of particle size analyzer systems. He previously held positions as Group Technical Director with ABB Metering and senior R&D and Marketing roles in GEC and Thorn EMI. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Liverpool and a Masters of Business Administration from Henley Management College.
