CHANGE OVER WORKHOLDING IN UNDER ONE MINUTE

The Hydramax (Tigard, OR) model HYDRA-4-8 vise jaw fits directly onto a Kurt 8 in vise and is capable of holding 4 parts. A common channel equalizes pressure against all the individual pistons so equal pressure is applied to all parts. Even though hydraulic pressure is used, there are no connections to make and change-over is fast and easy. According to the manufacturer, a change-over from the standard jaw takes less than 1 minute. The patented system shown is one of 13 different configurations available.
