Plouse Precision Manufacturing (Harrisburg, PA) one of the nation?s leading precision contract manufacturers, recently announced its extensive online virtual factory tour. This unique tool enables visitors to the company?s website to take an up-close, inside look at the state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

Plouse Precision Manufacturing is a leading single source contract manufacturer, utilizing innovative solutions for manufacturing components and assemblies. They specialize in finding economical solutions to complex manufacturing challenges using state-of-the-art equipment, years of combined experience, and a relentless commitment to each client. Their capabilities include, but are not limited to, CNC milling and turning, metal stamping, wire EDM, welding and precision grinding.

The virtual tour includes images, videos and narration for each major manufacturing department. It includes the detailed specifications, capabilities and explanations that would be expected on a similar on-site tour. Explore the Virtual Tour at PlouseManufacturing.com/Tour .

"This comprehensive, online virtual tour is unique in our industry," said Dale Seitz, president of
Plouse Precision Manufacturing. "We learned during early testing that it will become a popular tool for delivering an inside look at our operations to prospective customers and long-term clients alike. It is especially valuable for those who are too distant to visit us on a regular basis. Now they can see many of the tools, machines and processes that are used to produce their parts and assemblies," he added.

Stops on the tour include CNC Milling and Turning, Wire EDM, Stamping, Grinding and Inspection departments. For example, Plouse?s CNC Milling department houses one of the industry?s most advanced machining centers. Two of the machines are linked together by a 14-position fully automated pallet-pool system, which minimizes costs and set-ups on high-volume production jobs.

The combination of images, audio and video presented during the tour enables website visitors to fully understand the functionality and see the actual equipment in action.
