The STAMA (Itasca, IL) Tool ManagementPat. System provides process-controlled availability of tooling for continuous manufacturing and avoids unproductive secondary processing time. The system operates by placing the next cutting tool into a staging pocket automatically, based on preprogrammed sequences on the CNC.
During tool change, the magazine only needs to travel one tool pocket for pick-up of the next tool. The STAMA Tool ManagementPat System therefore guarantees faster production processes, due to consistently shorter chip-to-chip times.
The tool magazine is equipped for CAT 40, 50 or HSK 63,100 for up to 64 tools. External magazines are also available with either 90 or 180 tool positions.
