Mazak Optonics Corporation (Elgin, IL) introduces the new HyperGear 510 Champion that features high speed, high accuracy cutting utilizing a flying optics two pallet changer design with linear motors on 5 axes. It maintains the speed of the HyperGear series machines while offering a lower initial investment.
The HyperGear Champion is available in 2.5 kW and 4 kW configurations that can process from the thinnest steel up to 1 in mild steel. It offers a 60 in x 120 in (1525 mm x 3050 mm) bed. The HG Champion delivers integrated automated focal length analysis, nozzle standoff, and nozzle maintenance setup capabilities that facilitate unattended operation. The Champion utilizes the Preview II control and linear drives to cut at unmatched speeds with 3G of acceleration, yet with the precision to maintain corner integrity, tight dimensional accuracy and roundness on contours.
The HyperGear Champion is available with a large range of automated material handling systems including load/unload cells and flexible manufacturing systems.
