SUPER ACCURATE, ELECTRIC/HYDRAULIC PRESS BRAKE DELIVERS PRINT-TO-PART PROCESSING WHILE ELIMINATING TEST PIECE

Amada America, Inc. offers an advanced design press brake system, the HDS 8025NT, engineered for speed, accuracy and prolonged performance. The system?s consistent ram positioning to within one micron makes it possible for shops to maintain high accuracy levels, even over extended operating periods, critical to meeting the demands of today?s 24/7 productivity mindset.

COMPACT, EFFICIENT AND ERGONOMICALLY ENHANCED PRECISION PRESS BRAKES

Trumpf?s TruBend Series 7000 precision press brake is a compact machine that offers a high-quality, efficient solution for the production of small bent parts. It is ideal for parts no larger than 12 in x 12 in. Typical applications include sheet metal parts used in the production of vending machines and electrical equipment as well as in the telecommunications and aerospace industries.

LOW-COST GUILLOTINE SHEARS PROVIDE PARALLEL-GUIDED SHEARING ACTION, FOUR CUTTING EDGES

LVD Strippit offers the CS Series of low-cost guillotine shears, ideal for general shearing applications. CS shears are easy to use and feature a motorized backguage range up to 39.3 in (1000 mm) and 59 in (1.5 m) squaring arm. The CS 13/31 model is also equipped with a front sheet support. The shears provide a parallel-guided shearing action with four cutting edges, allowing ?shadow line? cutting.

ECONOMICAL PRESS BRAKES IDEAL FOR GENERAL BENDING REQUIREMENTS

LVD Strippit offers the PPS Series of cost effective press brakes ideal for general bending requirements. The PPS press brake offers the precision and reliability of LVD bending technology in a value-minded package. Available in six models from 50 to 200 tons and bend lengths from 78 in (2000 mm) to 157 in (4000 mm), the PPS press brake is offered in manual and CNC configurations with a CNC touch screen control.

FULLY ELECTRIC PRESS BRAKE HELPS COMBAT HIGH ENERGY COSTS

MC Machinery Systems offers the Toyokoki APB, a fully electric press brake that uses virtually no power until you step on the pedal. No oil is used, and thus very little maintenance is required. The APB?s combination of direct drive AC servo motor, ultra-precise ball screw (constructed to withstand 3x rated capacity), and absolute rotary encoder ensures a remarkable 1 micron (+/-.000039 in) ram positioning accuracy.

OFFLINE PROGRAMMING SYSTEM FOR A WIDE VARIETY OF PRESS BRAKE MACHINES

Advanced Manufacturing Solutions, LLC and Somatech from Ede (Netherlands) presents the new SomaBEND 2009 version. SomaBEND delivers an offline programming system for a wide variety of press brake machines and full 3D simulation of the bending process. The process driven approach of SomaBEND 2009 and the advanced new functionality offer a fully automated offline programming system for most of the sheet metal products.

PRESS BRAKES' ENHANCEMENTS INCREASE EFFICIENCY AND PRODUCTIVITY

Trumpf offers enhancements to their TruBend Series 5000 precision press brakes to further improve productivity and efficiency in bending. These enhancements include a visual setup and positioning aid and the new Mobile Control. The visual setup and positioning aid is comprised of a large number of LED lights positioned in 1 mm increments integrated in the cover of the upper tool clamp.

HIGH-SPEED, HIGH-PRECISION, HIGH PRODUCTION CAPACITY BENDING

LVD Strippit offers its PPRM electric press brake. This high efficiency press brake delivers working speeds of up to 25 mm per second, depending on application and safety requirements. The PPRM is a 35-ton machine with a working length of 1250 mm. The machine?s high production capacity is attributed to a simple working principle. The press brake ram is supported by springs and uses two single-acting hydraulic cylinders.
