One of the West Coast's leading full-service industrial general contractors and fabricators is expanding its presence into California. Greenberry Fabrication (Corvallis, OR), which provides mechanical, structural and civil construction and fabrication services, announced today that it has opened a new office in Ontario, CA, to better serve its growing client base in the state.

"A southern California office gives our customers in the area better access to all our services," said Greenberry Industrial president Jason Pond. "In addition, we expect a local presence to pave the way for new opportunities in the petrochemical, aerospace, energy, pulp and paper sectors. We plan to hire local employees to augment our existing resources."

Greenberry's new office, its fifth on the West Coast, is located near the Ontario airport and will support the entire southern California basin. The address is 3200 Guasti Road, Suite 100, Ontario, CA.

Based in Corvallis, Greenberry Industrial is no stranger to the California construction market, with more than 25 years experience working throughout the state. The fabricator recently installed a 3 million lb furnace at a local steel manufacturing facility that has greatly improved hourly production levels at the mill. Greenberry routinely works in the petrochemical industry among others.

The company recently earned the American Institute of Steel Construction's (AISC) certification in the categories of Major Steel Bridges (with Fracture Critical Endorsement), Steel Building Structures and Simple Steel Bridges. The recognition comes after a comprehensive sixth-month review of Greenberry's fabrication division for quality assurance and control programs. The AISC auditors conducted on-site visits and interviews, and observed the practices and approaches of everyone to determine if Greenberry was fulfilling its commitment to safety and quality before granting the certification.

AISC Certification sets the quality standard for the steel industry and is the most recognized national quality certification program for the structural steel industry. Companies that are AISC certified have been through a rigorous initial evaluation and are subject to annual reviews.

Greenberry Industrial is a full-service industrial general contractor serving clients throughout the United States. The company manages and provides all structural, civil and mechanical disciplines in industrial construction including boilermaking, civil and concrete, heavy rigging, millwright and equipment setting, pipe spooling and steel erection.
