(St. Paul, MN) has added a new-generation turret punch/laser system, the Amada® EMLK3610NT, with an energy-efficient servo-electric drive system. This equipment delivers high-speed, tight-tolerance punching and laser cutting in combination with forming capability and automated load/unload material handling systems.

Specially programmed software makes Quality Tool?s deployment of the EMLK3610NT unique in the industry. The company directed the development of the customized software for integration with the EMLK3610NT. Quality Tool?s solution makes real-time dynamic nesting possible and minimizes cost through reduction of setup and production time, scrap and lead times. This unrivaled performance is achieved while holding more precise tolerances for increased accuracy and quality.

The EMLK3610NT is specifically designed for efficient production of short-run and complex sheet metal parts. It is capable of delivering 500 HPM on 1 in centers, the highest hit rate available today. The turret/laser handles up to 8 ga material in 10 ft sheets (8 ft without repositioning).
