Master Chemical Corporation (Perrysburg, OH) announces a premium emulsion metalworking fluid that performs exceptionally well for aerospace, medical device manufacturers, and anyone who needs to machine tough, high-tech alloys. E850 is a proprietary blend of new "green" vegetable-based technology and premium traditional lubricity additives to yield a very high-performance, easy-to- maintain metal removal fluid.

As a premium, general-purpose emulsion, E850 delivers long-life, unparalleled lubricity, and low odor. It soars in the aerospace market by meeting tough aerospace manufacturing requirements and it is compatible with aerospace alloys and exotic materials. E850 has a high-lubricity "green" machining package. It is excellent for the medical-grade device manufacturers because it contains no animal-based ingredients, has mild contact properties, is readily washable, and does not contain chlorinated paraffin.

This premium emulsion is operator friendly because of its mild contact nature and low initial-charge odor. E850 is robust enough to deliver extended useful life and avoid rancid odors normally associated with traditional emulsions. The unparalleled physical lubricity delivers exceptional surface finish on difficult-to-machine aluminum alloys, exotics, stainless, and high-tensile strength steels.

In Jackson, MI, E850 is performing very well at Main & Co., where they manufacture aircraft assemblies and parts. Al Raser, of Main states, "I really like working with this emulsion metalworking fluid. With past products, we had many foam issues." Troy Gray of Main also reported, "We had a very precise part with 36 holes that were .070 in in size that we had to make. I was very impressed with the performance of E850 because it delivered more consistent results than our past coolant."

E850 has very long sump life and low carryoff rates which results in low operating costs. It provides superior results in a wide range of operations and has excellent corrosion resistance on both nonferrous and ferrous materials. E850 provides superior wetting and penetration to the point of cut and leaves a soft fluid film to protect ways, chucks, and tool holders. E850 is easily removed from parts for easy cleanup before assembly, painting, or plating operations.

Master Chemical Corporation was founded in November 1951. Since then, working closely with the worldwide metalworking community, the company has developed and marketed a full line of specialty cutting and grinding fluids, cutting oils, concentrated washing and cleaning compounds, and rust preventives all under the TRIM® Brand trademark.
