EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW ABOUT WATERJETS

Website uses video to explain how they function for shape cutting and surface preparation, what should be considered when selecting one, and more.

Flow International Corporation (Kent, WA) announced the launch of its new website, which features enhanced functionality and easy navigation, allowing visitors to quickly find answers to their questions about waterjets.

Flow performed a series of usability studies and, based on user feedback, designed the website to offer easy and seamless access to all available information. The simple-to-use site navigation is broken down into several key categories such as waterjet cutting, surface preparation and technical tips.

The site contains several new features including "Ask Dr. Hashish," the inventor of abrasive waterjet cutting. He will provide answers to technical questions about waterjet cutting submitted on the website or via email. In addition there are pictures and videos of waterjets cutting or cleaning various materials as well as customer stories of how they are using a waterjet in their operation. There is also more information about how waterjets function, both for shape cutting and surface preparation, as well as what should be considered when selecting a waterjet.

"Our goal is to provide our website visitors an informative as well as enjoyable way to learn about the wide variety of ways our customers use waterjets. That is why we have included more video throughout the site to ensure that we don't just talk about the process, we actually show how it works," says Chip Burnham, vice president of marketing, Flow International.

The website will be regularly updated with additional customer stories, news releases, pictures and video, tradeshow information, investor and career information, as well as answers by Dr. Hashish to waterjet questions.
