A new compact below-the-hook vacuum lifter that can be outfitted with interchangeable pad attachments to match specific pipe diameters is being introduced by Anver Corporation of Hudson, MA.
The VPFL Series Vacuum Lifter for Pipe Handling is a below-the-hook unit that can be equipped with a custom pad attachment featuring a rugged foam pad mounted on a steel plate, which is bolted onto an all-welded frame. Designed to lift heavy pipe from the top and prevent damage to the surface, this compact lifter requires only 8 in of headroom and is suitable for onsite and in-plant use stacking and unloading pipe or feeding machinery.
Available with capacities up to 2,000 lb, the VPFL Series Vacuum Lifter can be powered by compressed air or electricity.
