LOW ABSORPTION CO2 LASER LENSES RUN COOLER

Lenses for high-power CO2 lasers from Laser Research Optics absorb less energy and outlast standard A/R-coated lenses.

A line of low-absorption laser lenses for high-power CO2 lasers that absorb less laser energy than standard A/R-coated lenses and run cooler have been introduced by Laser Research Optics (Providence, RI).

Laser Research Cool-Cut CO2 laser lenses are direct replacements for most standard OEM laser lenses and feature a proprietary coating which absorbs < 0.15 percent of laser energy and protects against thermal damage.

Available in 1.5 in and 2.0 in dia sizes from 0.236 in to 0.380 in thick with focal lengths from 1 in to 25 in at 0.5 in increments, the surface quality of Laser Research Cool-Cut CO2 laser lenses is 40-20 scratch-dig and transmission is > 99 percent at 10.6 µm. A mounting service is offered.
