WELDING METAL FOILS NOW EASIER

Lasers with continuous wave radiation are often too expensive due to the high output powers necessary for the welding process. Pulsed Nd:YAG lasers are offer an alternative, allowing welding with relatively low medium output power and reducing investment costs.

IMPROVED MICRO-IMPLANTS THROUGH LASER SINTERING

The goal of a new research project is to produce a porous structure on chosen areas of an implant surface to improve attachment to the surrounding tissue provide a surface for medication to be deposited.

MOBILE WATERJET COLD CUTTING APPLICATIONS

Jet Edge‘s 80 hp, 60,000 psi iP60-80DS diesel-powered water jet intensifier pump is capable of producing up to 1.35 gpm (5.1 l/m) of ultra-high pressure water for mobile water jet cutting applications.

HOW MUCH WIRE? HOW MUCH GAS?

By using some simple math, Kevin Beardsley of Lincoln Electric shows how to make the calculations necessary to get a very accurate estimation on the amount of welding wire and shielding gas needed to complete a job being quoted.
