Ideal for aluminum fabrication, high-alloy construction, shipbuilding and pipeline welding, this compact wire feeder is push-pull capable for premium aluminum wire feeding with a push-pull gun.

The advanced process Power Feed® 25M compact wire feeder from Lincoln Electric (Cleveland, OH) is push-pull capable for premium aluminum wire feeding with a push-pull gun. Intended for use with Power Wave® advanced process welding power sources, the Power Feed 25M wire feeder is an ideal choice for aluminum fabrication, high-alloy construction, shipbuilding and pipeline welding environments.

The Power Feed 25M provides control for MIG (GMAW) pulsed MIG, Surface® Tension Transfer (STT®), gas-shielded (FCAW-G) and self- shielded (FCAW-S) flux-cored, TIG (GTAW), gouging and stick (SMAW) with appropriate multi-process power sources.

To reliably drive welding wire, the Power Feed 25M relies on the MAXTRAC® wire drive system with dual gear-driven drive rolls, and a revolutionary split wire guide that precisely aligns and supports the wire through the entire drive path to minimize feeding problems.

The 5-pin ArcLink® Connector with a patent-pending Spin-Nut™ makes for fast and easy connection to the welding power source and offers a 12-pin universal remote control receptacle for connecting a spool gun, push-pull gun or remote output control. Push-pull functionality allows the operator to enhance feeding of soft aluminum wire and/or reliably feed wire at extended distances between the gun and feeder.

With its dual procedure and memory buttons, the Power Feed 25M allows users to set “A” and “B” procedures and simply call up preset user saved waveforms and welding procedures. UtimArc™ Controls gives users the ability to adjust arc characteristics to match their individual preferences for arc starts and stops. The feeder’s main display shows detailed welding and diagnostic information, while dual encoder displays show on the left WFS for MIG and flux-cored processes or amperage for stick or TIG processes. The right display shows voltage or trim.

Available in either an aluminum or plastic case, the Power Feed 25M features internal lighting that illuminates the wire drive for work in dark environments, while an internal heater controls humidity inside the cabinet to keep welding wire warmed for enhanced moisture pick up resistance. The case is designed to fit through a 16 in (406 mm) diameter or 12 in x 18 in (305 mm x 457 mm) opening. At the back, a flowmeter with control valve regulates and monitors shielding gas flow at the feeder to compensate for long hoses.
