An overview of the company and its organization, products, services and capabilities.

Established in 1976, Cosen Saws has grown into one of the world’s largest manufacturers of band sawing machines and systems. Today Cosen manufacturers over 100 standard models, including manual, semi-automatic, automatic, and programmable (Mitsubishi PLC + Touch Screen) control. Machines are available in capacities from 200 mm (8 in) to 2000 mm (80 in).

With more than 50,000 band saws sold to over 70 countries, Cosen provides sales and service through an extensive network of authorized distributors. Cosen prides itself on being able to provide a solution to any sawing application, including the ability to manufacture unique, customized machines to get the job done.

Quality, performance, and reliability are all words that can be used to describe Cosen saws. Cosen has earned ISO-9001 certification as well as CE designation and EMC to assure customers around the globe of absolute quality and reliability. “Over the past several years, I’ve had minimal downtime. I’m shipping about 500 tons of structural steel a month. An average beam weighs 3,000 lb; that’s a lot of sawing. I don’t think, even if you spent more money on another brand, that you can attain that kind of dependability,” says John Schuepbach, The late Chairman of the Board at Trans-Tex Fabricating Co.

PROVEN ASSURANCE OF ABSOLUTE QUALTY AND RELIABILITY
Cosen has spent more than 36 years maximizing efficiency and quality in every step of the design, engineering and manufacturing process. This ensures customers receive the longestlasting, highest performing, best designed band saws available. Cosen utilizes world brand parts (such as Siemens of Germany, Telemecanique of France, NOK of Japan and Square D of the U.S.) to guarantee that each and every component that goes into a Cosen saw is of the highest quality. As an added side benefit, Cosen’s use of these universal branded components allows for a local supply of repair parts.
