An overview of the company and its organization, products, services and capabilities.
HACO-ATLANTIC, Inc. is a member of the HACO International Group located in Houston, TX. HACO-ATLANTIC offers a solution for every metal fabrication need with our complete line of machine tools for shearing, bending, cutting, punching, angle and plate rolls, and notchers and ironworkers.
HACO-ATLANTIC machines are made in Belgium. In addition to our Belgian headquarters and many production and service facilities all over Europe, we have been serving our US customers for almost 29 years from our US headquarters and import center in Houston. More than 46 years of experience building state of the art fabricating equipment make our company one of the leading manufacturers of fabricating machinery worldwide. We serve many familiar customers, such as the U.S. Army, Navy, USAF, USMC, Boeing, Disneyland/Disney World, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, Nucor, Northrop Grumman, Continental Airlines, Alcoa, American Airlines, Hobart, and the U.S. Department of Justice.
From the very beginning of HACO in 1965, our principal goal was to understand the needs and requirements of our customers and to provide for them an unprecedented level of customer service. We continue to accomplish this by offering them the widest range of machines with the best price-to-quality ratio and by assuring reliable maintenance support through local branches. We are the industry specialists in those sectors.
In 1965, Rogier Havegeer and Roger De Marez started their own company, producing hydraulic components and providing maintenance and repair services. It was the initial seed from which the worldwide HACO Group NV and its related companies have grown. From 1965 to 1972, the business grew steadily, evolving from a Flemish family-owned, locally anchored business into an international organization. During this time, HACO developed a sheet metal guillotine shear and took its first steps as a machine builder, important steps toward diversification and specialization.
