Haco Atlantic USA, in collaboration with Cutlite Penta, introduces Laser Plus, a new state-of-the-art high precision laser cutting system now available for unattended operations with both CO2 and fiber lasers from 2 kW to 6 kW.

In Booth C-3440 Haco Atlantic USA Inc. (Houston, TX), in collaboration with Cutlite Penta (Firenze, Italy), introduces its most recent state-of-the-art high precision laser cutting system now available with both CO2 and fiber lasers from 2 kW to 6 kW. At the heart of the system, the new “Smart Technologies” includes the smart fast piercing and auto-focusing functions, with linear motors that allow extremely high rapid speeds up to 140 m/min and acceleration over 2.5 g. The fully automatic loading/unloading dual pallet system and optional fully automated loading towers are designed for up to 24/7 operation with minimal operator intervention.

The Laser Plus system represents the most modern technology for maximum quality production. It is the highest level of development in mechanical linear motor and rack and pinion design, combining superior edge quality, faster cutting speeds, and significantly reduced operating costs. The advanced CNC processor provides smooth axes movement that is completely integrated for cutting and processing of many metals, from thin shim stock to heavy plate up to one inch thick. With six interpolating processes and a maximum of 31 axes, the processor supports advanced gantry algorithms and continuously monitors the dynamic and geometric  gantry currents and positions.

The control easily facilitates graphic, conversational and conventional ISO formats for manual data input programming. The built-in cutting database assists inexperienced operators to choose optimal cutting parameters, including an advanced head set table to cut small holes on thick materials (about half of the material thicknesses). Software features include settings savings, job reports, recalling the last interrupted job, preview functions, remote diagnostic assistance, scheduling, ISO optimization, administration of the cutting head to prevent collisions of the head, optional video camera for fiducial marks, automatic edge detection on metal sheets, advanced common cuts, path and piercing optimization, automatic layouts in small spaces, collision prevention, sharp corner treatment and much more.
