In Booth C-8509, SIC Marking USA (Allison Park, PA) announces Hand-Held dot peen marking systems for marking flat and round work pieces such as plate, pipe and fabricated vessels – especially products with heavy weight. The proven electromagnetic dot peen technology being offered now takes versatility beyond standard column-mounted systems.

The cast aluminum body and handle make these portable dot peen markers a robust and reliable solution in rugged shop environments. The well-balanced ergonomic design makes it the choice of fabricators and heavy industry. Two marking head sizes are available: p62 with a 60 mm x 25 mm marking window, and the p122 with 120 mm x 25 mm marking window.

Programming the portable markers is easily accomplished with the e9 controller through a sealed membrane keypad or with the windows-based SIC Tools® software that comes with the package. The e8 controller offers a wider range of communication capabilities for higher volume and complex marking requirements. Each controller offers a special programming feature to give the user an unlimited marking window.

Complete portability can be achieved when the portable dot peen is used with the cart and battery option, allowing the worker to move within and beyond the factory floor. The standard column option allows the unit to be cross-functional for portable and stationery marking – two marking system configurations in one! www.sicmarking.com
