The Vcenter-165 vertical machining center provides graphic tool management, tool life management in an array form, extra 10 counters, abnormal load detection, spindle load monitory, adaptive controlled cutting at constant loading, a smart workpiece measurement and calculator.

Fortune International (Somerset, NJ)/Victor Taichung Machinery introduce their larger size vertical machining center. This Vcenter-165 has travels of 65 in (X-axis) x 33.46 in (Y-axis) x 35.43 in (Z-axis). All three axes’ box way design is optimized for dynamic stiffness. The 4-box slideways used on the Y-axis eliminate table overhanging and stabilize machine performance. Force lubrication and bonded Turcite-B further improves performance by eliminating stock slip characteristics.

The spindle is supported with heavy duty roller bearings that have large contact areas to easily handle large axial and radial loads. The two-speed gear box is coupled to a Fanuc 20 hp spindle motor. Standard oil cooling to the spindle and gearbox maintain low bearing temperature for extended spindle life. The double arm-type ATC provides up to 40 tools in the magazine.

This Vc-165 standard with Fanuc Oi-TD with 10.4” color display and Manual Guide I along with AICC-2 (200 blocks look ahead) and Victor Software System (VSS).  It is including the graphic tool management, tool life management in an array form, extra 10 counters, abnormal load detection, spindle load monitory, adaptive controlled cutting at constant loading, smart workpiece measurement and calculator.

This model is added into the existing VMC line of Vc-55, Vc-70, Vc-85, Vc-102, Vc-110, Vc-130, Vc-145 and the advanced series of Vc-A70, Vc-A85, Vc-A110 and Vc-A130. Besides this line of VMCs, Fortune/Victor Taichung also stocks and sells full lines of CNC horizontal machining centers, vertical turning lathes, and horizontal turning lathes. All models come with standard Fanuc Oi/32i/31i control to meet various requirements for batch production or high speed machining.
