Toolmen Corporation (Austin, TX) announced the availability of their CNC Laser Tube Cutter, providing manufacturers with a cost effective laser tube cutting option. “Our goal is to provide the most cost efficient, value driven CNC Laser Tube Cutter on the market,” said Heather Pavlovich, the marketing manager at Toolmen.

Many customers have already benefited from deploying the CNC Laser Tube Cutter. For example, GEODynamics (The Woodlands, TX), a perforating gun manufacturer competing in the Oil and Gas industry, recently deployed an additional system that will enable their Millsap, TX shop to further increase existing production of perforating guns.

“These CNC lasers that we have in service allow us to produce high quality parts at a very competitive price point,” said Pat Byrne, the vice president of manufacturing at GEODynamics. “Our machines are part of a 24 hour-a-day operation and their ability to perform is critical.”

These machines typically make use of multiple servos for fixturing, loading/unloading and part presentation. One system is the Five-Axis Motion Platform with hollow, direct drive servo A and B axis that enables high accuracy with the laser fiber passed through the center of rotation.

Founded in 1998, Toolmen Corporation is the worldwide leader in custom CNC machinery for the oil and gas business.
