Richards Micro-Tool Earns Supplier Excellence Award

The cutting tool supplier was recently recognized by 3M ESPE, a manufacturer of dental products, for going above and beyond traditional performance and quality standards.

Richards Micro-Tool (Plymouth, MA), a leading precision cutting-tool supplier for more than 50 years, was recently recognized by 3M ESPE for its superior performance in 2011. Richards Micro-Tool received the award from 3M ESPE, a manufacturer of dental products.

This is the second time Richards Micro-Tool has received this honor, which is based on 3M TQRDC Supplier Metrics (Technology/Quality/Responsiveness/Delivery/Cost).

The Superior Performance Award recognizes 3M ESPE suppliers who go above and beyond traditional performance and quality standards. Considered a benchmark within 3M ESPE, this program measures 42 suppliers for quality, on-time delivery and administrative accuracy.  Richards Micro-Tool’s scores have consistently exceeded 95 percent.

Minnesota-based 3M ESPE (a division of 3M Health Care) is a dental product manufacturer that markets more than 2,000 dental products and services that help dental professionals improve their patients’ oral health care.
