With more shops keeping flexible production schedules to compete in the incredibly fast pace of business, this new site gives distributors the flexibility to be more responsive to those shifting needs with 24/7 password-protected access to real-time information.

IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. (Perrysburg, OH) has launched its expanded new e-commerce website. Two years in the making, the new website – www.imcousa.com – not only helps machinists choose exactly the tools they need, but also enables distributors to order online, check inventory, track orders and much more.

“Our information technology should be as advanced, intuitive and productivity-driven as our cutting tool technology,” said IMCO president Perry Osburn, who oversaw the project from concept to completion. “Now, it is.”

The site is maximized for user-friendly navigation. Organized by machining type (milling, holemaking, deburring, etc.), visitors can sort cutting tools by tool family, application or end type, whatever works best for them. Burs are categorized by head shape or cut style, focusing product choices on the user’s need.

The site also offers password-protected access to a distributors-only area for online ordering, real-time inventory checks, order tracking and more. Sales manager Tim Elfreich said the new e-commerce capabilities will open many new service opportunities for IMCO distributors. “The pace of business today is incredibly fast and shops must keep production schedules flexible. With this e-commerce site, our distributors have the flexibility to be more responsive to those shifting needs with 24/7 access to real-time information.”

Downloadable catalogs remain available on the new site, as well as customer profiles, product videos, tool tips and contact information for requesting a Free Tool Test.

Since 1977, IMCO has focused on one goal: to provide manufacturers in a variety of industries with quality products that will help them achieve new levels of profitability, customer satisfaction and a competitive advantage.

By revolutionizing the way their tools are designed, produced, tested and used, IMCO strives to meet the ever-changing needs of a technologically diverse customer base. In serving the needs of customers world-wide, IMCO will continue to focus investments on the areas that matter most to the consumer – product quality, performance and service. www.imcousa.com
