Whatever your laser marking requirements, ROFIN will design a system for your exact specifications. Shown on the left is a Class 1 Laser Marker with dual PowerLine E Air lasers, fast-focusing lens, and coordinated movement. To the right is a Dual function laser for micro-machining and marking.

ROFIN-BAASEL, Inc., designs, manufactures and ships standard and custom laser marking systems to industries throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico, incorporating ROFIN’s own laser tech­nology. Based in Devens, MA, we offer a full software and hardware engineering staff to design solutions to your specifications. Also on-site are well-equipped applications lab for process feasibility stud­ies; training facilities for customers; and the hub for award-winning service/technical support network.

The LME-RM/LT Laser Marker Workstation is a versatile, rack-mounted, modular unit, providing a Class 1 solution which can accom­modate all our PowerLine laser sources. All 19” components can be integrated into the support frame. For easy job setup, the large access door can be configured with an optional automatic pneumatic AutoDoor. The LME-RM/LT offers optional circumferential marking of cylindrical workpieces, and a pro­grammable X/Y/Z axis can be added to increase the marking area.

The LME-RM 2 Workstation offers reliable 24/7 operation, and the rugged and stable design of the laser workstation guarantees precise marking results. The worktable can carry large and heavy workpieces of up to 100 kg. The versatile LME-RM 2 system includes such options as 36” multi-station rotary indexing table with X/Y/Z control for simultaneous loading/marking of your parts, adaptability to a variety of convey­ors, rotary tables, open-frame configurations, and a wealth of other options to make your marking project easy and efficient.

With the positioning possibilities of the laser or the part via the optional three programmable-controlled axes, even parts of complex geometry can be marked easily. A rotary axis for marking cylindrical parts is available optionally. ROFIN can also provide custom-engineered solutions as well as a portfolio of pre-existing custom solutions— five-sided markers, automated loaders and/or unloaders, conveyor system integration with your existing production line, ultra-high­precision systems, automotive and medical production systems and tag markers— to name a few.
