TE-CO, Inc. (Union, OH) is a leading U.S. manufacturer of Workholding Components and Systems. TE-CO began in 1929 as the Tietzmann Tool Company. Through the years our product line has continued to grow from basic clamping components to precision vises and hydraulic workholding. The TE-CO name is known for quality products and outstanding customer service.
Our current product lines include: Tooling Components, Jig & Fixture Components, Clamping Kits, Spring & Ball Plungers, Gaging and Inspection Items, CMM Fixturing, Vises & Vise Accessories, Tooling Columns & Plates, Toggle Clamps and Clamping Levers & Handles.
Our newest product line is our Toolex Vise Workholding System. This vise is considered to be the best in the industry for rigidity, repeatability, and accuracy. The Toolex system also has the most comprehensive offering of jaws and accessories available in the market. Many of our vise accessories can also fit our competitor vises as well. We also recently introduced our new vise for 5-axis applications and our double-acting hydraulic vise.
The vise for 5-Axis applications is specifically designed for 5-axis machining centers and for machine with a small work envelope. This vise is manufactured from 4140 steel for maximum rigidity and accuracy. The vise footprint is only 4” x 4” x 6.5”, however it can attain clamping pressures up to 6,000 lbs.
The Double Acting Hydraulic Vise is ideal for Robotic and Lights-out manufacturing due to its independently acting clamping stations. This vise is currently available in a 4” size, however, a 6” version is coming soon.
