This new user-intuitive site serves to meet the urgent heavy plate needs of professionals in the oil and gas, machine shop, service center, defense, mining, power production and heavy machinery industries.

Artco Group (White Plains, NY), the union of Artco Steel (formerly Galco Steel) and Houston Blow Pipe, announces the launch of its website.

As the manufacturers come together as one company, the new site serves to meet the urgent heavy plate needs of professionals in the oil and gas, machine shop, service center, defense, mining, power production and heavy machinery industries.

With a user-intuitive layout, the site provides information on Artco Group’s one-stop-shop offering for as-is plate products and customized finished part fabrications, which visitors can order for rapid delivery.

Artco Group specializes in heavy plate, with a wide range of grades and thicknesses to meet requirements for different applications.

These include working with pipeline equipment and service companies to provide pre-processed blanks in the fabrication of components for closure doors and pressure vessels, as well as supplying custom component fabrication for parts in sand separators used to remove sand and other sediment from the hydrocarbon production stream in the oil and gas industry.

The new website is designed to streamline the search for these solutions. Key specifiers can quickly access and find what they’re looking for by searching by product or service categories listed on dedicated landing pages.

Product categories include carbon plate, alloy plate and PVQ.

Artco Group’s extensive service offerings range from flame cutting, saw cutting, milling and grinding and plate rolling to quality assurance testing, heat treatment and shot blasting. Visitors that are unsure of their exact needs can also search by application.

“By allowing visitors easy access to an entire range of heavy plate solutions and making them readily available without the burden of stockpiling a large order, we act as your raw materials source, processor and warehouse all in one,” said Jeff Himmel, the chief executive officer of Artco Group. “This allows our customers to minimize lead times on projects, reducing costs and boosting their bottom lines.”

Visitors to the new website can request an urgent quote and directly submit a document specifying their needs on the Contact page. The site also directs visitors to the appropriate office for customers who wish to speak with a representative.
