AMT to Host Automation Technology Open House
The event will take place in late August and will include technical sessions, speakers, and demonstrations.

Annual event highlights to include technical sessions, key industry speakers, and equipment demonstrations.
Applied Manufacturing Technologies (AMT) (Orion, MI), a leading supplier of factory automation and safety design, engineering and process consulting services recently announced it will hold its annual Automation Technology Open House August 22nd from 8:30am to 5:00pm at its corporate headquarters.
The event will be held in cooperation with AMT’s technology partner ATI Industrial Automation’s 7th annual Technology Training Fair scheduled for the same day. Shuttle service will be provided between the two manufacturer’s locations free of charge. Both events will feature technical sessions, key industry speakers and equipment demonstrations.
“We are very excited to be hosting this event that will give attendees a look at some of the latest robotic and automation techniques and products,” said Jordan Merhib, director of business development for the company. “The technical sessions and live demonstrations will provide attendees with an opportunity to look at and discuss automation processes and methodologies and how they apply to their manufacturing challenges.”
Attendees of the event can register by emailing AMT online. Lunch and refreshments will be provided and shuttle service will be running all day between the two events. A full agenda for the event will be posted on the company’s website when finalized.
