A leading developer and supplier of computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software becomes the newest member of the Value Inspired Partners (VIP) technology program.
DP Technology Corporation (Camarillo, CA) is well known for its flagship product ESPRIT, a high-performance, full-spectrum programming system for milling, turning, wire EDM and multi-tasking machine tools.
Stemming from Mazak‘s (Florence, KY) commitment to provide more comprehensive solutions to manufacturers, the VIP program brings together producers of complementary technologies to create more innovative products and turnkey processes. Collaborating on R&D and integration efforts, the VIP program fosters a high level of cooperation and technological integration that moves well beyond individual pieces of equipment. The program also fuels development of comprehensive training solutions for manufacturers across all market segments.
“We are pleased to welcome DP Technology as the newest member of our VIP program,” said Brian Papke, the president of Mazak Corporation. “The company has shown itself to be a very proactive collaboration partner and one that represents the values of the VIP program. We believe their passion for excellence and innovation will continue to be a valuable asset to the enhanced performance of our machine tools, as well as to our customersʼ success.”
The ESPRIT system offers powerful, high-performance programming for any CNC machine tool, and CNC programmers value it for its extensive suite of machining cycles, comprehensive tool control, and capacity to fully support an entire shop. Many of Mazakʼs customers, particularly those with 5-axis and multi-Tasking machines, already benefit from the system, as it allows them to optimize post processing and programming to achieve the highest possible productivity from their machine tool investments.
“It is an honor to be a part of the Mazak VIP technology program,” said Dan Frayssinet, the chief executive officer of DP Technology Corporation. “We are very excited and eager to continue working with Mazak and its customers to expand their manufacturing capabilities with ESPRIT and our other technical innovations. Like Mazak, DP Technology is committed to technical excellence and continues to dedicate significant amounts of time and money into ongoing research and product development, particularly in regards to 5-axis and multi-tasking machine operations. This allows U.S. manufacturers to further increase productivity and remain ahead of the competition.”
DP Technology maintains its worldwide headquarters in Camarillo, California, with product development teams in California, Berlin, Germany and Florence, Italy. Sales and support operations are located in Europe, Asia, and North and South America.
