The WSi-200 submerge type CNC wire-cut EDM is ideal for aerospace, medical, electronic circuitry applications and more.
Compact and cost-effective, the WSi-200 from Kent USA (Tustin, CA) boasts high-precision mold machining with special sixth axis and rotation that is ideal for aerospace technology, IC electronics and medical high technology applications. It can accommodate workpieces up to 22 x 19 x 5 in and has a water tank capacity of 119 gal.
Kent has also developed a PCB micro wire (0.05 ~ 0.10 mm) to meet requirements for the electronic circuit industry. The applications for PCD cutting tools are extensive, especially in the hi-tech industry sector involving photoelectric energy, precision machinery, automotive, motorcycle, optics, 3C, IC components, and more.
Machined products include alloy wheels, piston production, optical glass for mold production, LCD glass cutting, cell phone shell CD lines, assembly and die attachments, and PCB base boards edge trimming. The wire-receiving system uses AC Servo motors to adjust for small vibrations, ensuring wire stability and smooth, reliable automatic threading.
