TRUMPF Names New President and Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Lars Gruenert is now responsible for all North American subsidiaries and manufacturing, engineering, research and development, customer service, technical training, product sales and the appliances division.

Effective immediately, Dr. Lars Gruenert will serve as president and chief executive officer of TRUMPF Inc. (Farmington, CT). He succeeds Rolf Biekert.

In this position, Dr. Gruenert is now responsible for all TRUMPF Inc. subsidiaries and business operations in North America, including manufacturing, engineering, research and development, customer service, technical training, product sales, and appliances division. He is also responsible for the central departments IT and processes, purchasing, and organizational development.

After more than twenty-five years of service, Rolf Biekert leaves the company to lead Maintecx Machine Tool, LLC (St. Paul, MN), an independent fabricating equipment sales representative company and an exclusive distributor of TRUMPF fabricating equipment in the Midwest. This territory includes Nebraska, Western Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
