United Grinding Technologies Names New Director of Corporate Marketing

United Grinding Technologies recently announced the appointment of Ted Neckel to director of corporate marketing.
Ted Neckel was recently named the director of corporate marketing at United Grinding Technologies (Miamisburg, OH). Neckel graduated from Miami University in 2001. Shortly after graduation, Neckel moved to Somerset, KY, to assist with the growth of Sumerset Custom Houseboats. Preparation, Innovation, and Passion were the ingredients for the multiple awards won by Sumerset Custom Houseboats during his employment.
Awards such as General Excellence from Inc. Magazine, due to the innovation of sumerset.com, national recognition from Forbes Magazine, the Travel Channel, as well as Good Morning America are just a few things Neckel put in his suitcase when he left Sumerset Custom Houseboats to pursue new adventures in digital media.
As the internet and social media grew, so did Neckel’s experiences with e-commerce, search engine optimization, and passion for everything online. Just prior to joining United Grinding North America, Neckel built several e-commerce sites, providing solutions to combine several shopping carts into one multi-store shopping cart, while improving Search Engine Rankings by more than 30 percent.
He continued to gain national recognition on World News with Diane Sawyer through his social media efforts and passion for charity. He brings a lot of energy to United Grinding, moreover Neckel’s global experience in Marketing will bring the grinding niche of the machine tool industry into the next generation.
To take a line from “Imagine Dragons” song “Radioactive” Neckel says “Welcome to the new age, I’m radioactive.” In this case the radioactive energy that Neckel brings to the grinding industry is contagious, as he has already redeveloped the grinding.com site, opened several social media channels for United Grinding, increased their search engine rankings, and has big plans for a new e-commerce site.
