Cambridge International Announces Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

The company recently announced the appointment of John Belza as chief financial officer.
Cambridge International, Inc. (Cambridge, MD), the world’s largest manufacturer of metal belting and wire cloth, is thrilled to announce the appointment of John Belza as chief financial officer of the company.
Belza brings a wealth of experience to the company with his most recent success as chief financial officer of Carat Security Group where he led the company integration of the accounting and finance functions of subsidiaries and holding companies in Europe, Latin American, Middle East and U.S.

His broad-based experience in finance gives him a solid platform for the job of chief financial officer of Cambridge International.”
Belza has 30 years of experience as a strategic financial professional with public companies across multiple industries, including General Electric Company.

In other company news, the firm recently named Catherine Achey as the new communications manager. She will be responsible for the corporate brand’s written and graphic communications. In this position, she will be responsible for strategically communicating all of the corporate brand messages through written and graphic communications while developing effective methods to attract and engage new audiences and keep current customers informed.
Achey is now the editorial contact for all Cambridge brands including Cambridge Architectural, Cambridge Engineered Solutions and Cambridge EnTech. She joins the Cambridge International team from Perdue Farms located in Salisbury, Maryland. Perdue Farms is the leading name in natural chicken and turkey; antibiotic-free chicken, turkey and pork; and USDA-certified organic chicken – including the PERDUE, HARVESTLAND® and COLEMAN NATURAL® brands. It was there she served in positions including communications, brand marketing and consumer promotions.
While at Perdue, Achey successfully drove marketing and consumer promotions initiatives to ensure products were successful and met sales velocity goals while maintaining budget. There, she also gained valuable experience in developing and executing national, in-store and retailer promotional programs with marketing agencies, brand managers and vendors. Achey also has a strong public relations and communications agency background.

Achey is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and business administration.
