CRC-Evans Pipeline International, Inc. (CRC-Evans)(Houston, TX), an international leader in pipeline construction technologies and product development, announced the extension of its original two-year sponsorship of Brora Rangers of the Scottish Highland Soccer League for three more years. The extended partnership is now contracted until 2016.
“CRC Evans is delighted to expand our sponsorship of Brora Rangers and build on an extremely positive relationship that has developed over the past two seasons,” says Scott Black, managing director for CRC-Evans Offshore.
With this sponsorship, CRC-Evans ensures Brora Rangers can further hone their talents both on and off the field. In addition to welcoming a number of players into the CRC-Evans apprenticeship program, the money from the partnership also contributes to the team’s stadium redevelopment and Brora’s youth development program.
“Support for the local community and for Brora’s youth development program is a very important aspect of this partnership to CRC Evans Offshore,” Black said.
“Brora Rangers are delighted to have the CRC-Evans name on our shirts, particularly given the stature and strength of the brand,” said Kevin MacKay, team director of Brora Rangers. “We look forward to working closely with CRC- Evans over the next three years and introducing our Club to more fans worldwide.”
The team was founded in 1879 and has won the North of Scotland Cup twice in 1981 and 1991. They play in Brora, Sutherland, a northern county of Scotland, at Dudgeon Park.
