Hartwig Appoints New President and Announces Executive Team Positions
Hartwig has recently announced organizational changes within the company.

Hartwig Inc. (St. Louis, MO) is pleased to share some exciting changes to its executive team.
Geoff Hartwig has been named President of Hartwig Inc. Geoff began his career with Hartwig in 2001. Throughout his tenure, he has held the position of assistant controller, sales representative, team leader of the St. Louis Division and most recently business development officer. Geoff is a CMTSE and holds an undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and an MBA from Maryville University. Geoff will assume the day-to-day roles of leading the organization.
Linda Ehler will continue to guide the organization as the chief financial officer. Linda, a CPA, CGMA and 16 year member of the Hartwig team, earned her degree at Truman State University in Missouri. Prior to joining Hartwig in 1997, she began her career in public accounting at Rubin Brown and then Botz Deal. Linda is responsible for leading the Hartwig’s finance and human resource departments.
Seth Machlus has been named vice president of operations at the firm. Seth, a CMTSE, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida. Seth began his career in technology and customer service before he entered the manufacturing industry with Okuma America Corporation in 2001.
Machlus joined Hartwig in 2009 where he has held the role of Operations Manager. Seth is responsible for the leadership of the organization’s service, parts and applications divisions along with the marketing and information technology departments.
Greg Hartwig has been named vice president of sales at Hartwig. Greg began his career in sales and then joined the company in 2001. Throughout his employment, he has held the roles of sales representative, team leader of the Mountain States Division, Team Leader of the St. Louis Division and most recently sales manager of the St. Louis Division.
Greg a CMTSE, earned his undergraduate degree at Missouri State University. Greg will be responsible for leading the organization’s sales and technical sales group along with overseeing the sales training program.
As these changes take effect, Gary Hartwig will assume the role of Chairman at the firm. “When the founder and my father, Paul Hartwig entrusted me as president in 1989, there was no better satisfaction of getting to lead a family run business with 20 great employees and two offices supporting the manufacturing efforts in Missouri,” stated Gary Hartwig.
“Now, more than 24 years later, I have the same joy in promoting this team. Through their hard work, determination and complementary skills, these four individuals are ready to succeed in leading Hartwig’s 165 employees and eight office locations supporting customers’ manufacturing efforts in 15 states.”
