Easy to move around the shop, Dayton’s (Chicago, IL) new 10-in left tilt Contractor Saw (4KXD1) features a large precision ground cast iron table. Incorporating the latest technology, the new quick-release, see-through, split-blade guard comes with an adjustable riving knife and anti-kickback pawls to protect the operator while providing a clear view of the material being cut.
The heavy duty cast iron trunnion design ensures accurate blade alignment for precision cuts. The dual-locking aluminum fence provides precision alignment that can be set to 1/64-in parallel to the blade and perpendicular to the table for accurate cuts every time.
It includes a powerful dual voltage 1 3/4HP motor and v-belt drive system to easily cut through hardwoods. The saw includes on-board storage for the deluxe T-Slot miter gauge with adjustable stops, push stick, blade guard, rip fence, blade and cord wrap. The rail mounted on/off safety switch is conveniently located for emergency shut off. Max rip is 30 in to the right and 13 in to the left of the blade with 3 1/8-in depth of cut at 90 deg.
