Wall Colmonoy (Madison Heights, MI) announces the appointment of Julian Bracey as Senior Purchasing Manager for European Headquarters located in Pontardawe, Wales.
Julian is responsible for coordinating and developing the supply of all direct and indirect materials and products required by the business areas. The business areas include Alloy Products, Precision Components and Aerobraze Engineered Technologies.
With over 20 years of strategic sourcing and supply management experience, Julian’s focus is to oversee all aspects of the procurement process including savings metrics and analysis, inflation mitigation, benchmarking and value analysis to build a world-class operation.
Prior to joining Wall Colmonoy, Julian served as a Commodity Manager Europe (Steel) at TRW Automotive. He also held procurement positions in steel, raw materials and components industries.
Studying in Wales, Julian received an upper II class bachelor of science degree in economics from UWIST, Cardiff in 1976, followed by a postgraduate certificate in education from UC Cardiff in 1977. He also has a diploma in management studies from the University of South Glamorgan in 1978.
