BLM Announces New Personnel Appointments

BLM GROUP USA (Wixom, MI), a global leader in the manufacture of tube processing equipment has announced the appointment of Todd O’Brien as product manager and Matthew Bleck, PMP as continuous improvement project manager. The company has also placed four service technicians in the field in the last six months.

O’Brien will act in a support capacity for all of BLM GROUP USA product by providing and evaluating time studies, field support and best-fit laser solutions for customers. Bleck will be responsible for project management, instituting lean manufacturing and further developing continuous improvement to the company’s manufacturing operations.

Prior to this position O’Brien was southwest regional sales manager for BLM GROUP USA. Previous to that position, O’Brien was a sales executive at Gladwin Machinery and Supply, Parkville, MO, a leading supplier of fabricating equipment.

Before coming to BLM GROUP USA Bleck was a project manager for Phillips Corporation, Federal Division, Hanover, MD. In that capacity Bleck was responsible for the time line management and resource schedule planning of multiple projects for the company’s machine tool sales.

In other news, BLM has announced the appointment of David Cotton as its new southwest region sales manager replacing O’Brien who previously was in that position. The new appointments, including the four new service technicians, are in response to the company’s continued growth for its tube processing equipment in the Americas.
