GM Awards Samuel with Supplier Quality Excellence Award
Samuel, Son & Co. recently received the Supplier Quality Excellence Award from General Motors.

General Motors Co., one of the world’s largest auto makers, recently awarded Samuel, Son & Co. (Ontario, Canada), Limited with its distinguished GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award. Management and key employees of Samuel Automotive Group and Samuel Metal Blanking accepted the award. This distinction is granted to select GM suppliers who met or exceeded stringent quality performance criteria throughout 2013.
“We are honored by this distinction,” says Frank Conciatori, vice president of Samuel Automotive. “Samuel is the first Canadian Service Center to receive this award and the only service center in North America to win the award in 2013. We are proud of what we have achieved over the years as a specialized product group, in meeting the unique and demanding specifications of the auto industry. It could not have been done without the hard work by many here at Samuel.”
Winning suppliers met or exceeded a series of twelve criteria during a twelve month period, including: TS16949 Certification, Zero Plant Disruptions, and other requirements focused on delivering high-quality products on-time. Samuel looks forward to continuing its superior level of excellence and quality for the automotive industry in 2014.
