Absolute Machine Hosts Discovery Day to Launch its Midwest Technical Center
Absolute Machine Tools will host a Discovery Day at its Technical Center in Elgin, Illinois on April 9, 2014.

Absolute Machine Tools, Inc. (Elgin, IL) is hosting a special Discovery Day at its new Midwest Technical Center where guests can experience live demos of a wide range of advanced metalworking equipment. New technologies from such machine tool brands as Nexturn, Precihole, Accutex EDM, Tongtai, Johnford, and Fanuc Automation will be introduced.
The festivities take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 10:00 am until 7:00 pm. Complimentary lunch and beer will be served courtesy of Elgin’s Portillo’s Hot Dogs, Inc., known the world over for its hot dogs, Italian beef sandwiches, and hamburgers. The 26,000 sq ft technical center was acquired to support Absolute’s strong customer base in the region. Discovery Day is designed to showcase Absolute’s applications and service engineering capabilities via its highly trained staff and professional partnerships. Ten Kennametal tooling packages worth $1,000 each and 10 EDM consumable packages valued at $350 each will be given away as door prizes.
