Laboratory Testing Inc. Hires New Inside Sales Employee

Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) (Hatfield, PA) welcomed Joseph Farrell to the customer service/sales department. He was hired to fill the materials testing and calibration laboratory’s recently created inside sales position.

Farrell’s primary responsibility will be providing all aspects of support to new customers, including establishing the account relationships, responding to inquiries and requests, preparing quotes and tracking orders. He will also provide service to established and potential customers.

Farrell attended York College of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a B.A in Business Administration. Before joining Laboratory Testing Inc., he was employed as a sales representative by Evraz North America in the Flat Products Group selling hot-rolled carbon and alloy discrete plate, heat-treated plate, cut-to-length plate, and coil.

Farrell comes to his new position at LTI with a strong background in the metals industry, including production control, metallurgy, melting operations and rolling operations. He has also worked with ASTM, ASME and SAE specifications and became familiar with metals testing through the in-house laboratories at Evraz.
