MAG Consolidates its Organization
MAG has filled new positions on the management board to strengthen the Service unit.

MAG (Göppingen, Germany), consolidates its organizational structure and concentrates responsibilities within the Group. Dr. Heiner Lang, the company’s former chief operations officer, has been appointed president of European and Asian operations of MAG IAS GmbH (MAG Germany) effective immediately. Lang has been with MAG since 2009 and has most recently been responsible for the company’s product development and technological strategy.
In order to strengthen the rapidly growing business unit, Service, Michael Heinz was appointed as a member to MAG Germany’s management board. He will focus on acquiring an even stronger global position for the service business and complementing the division with Retrofit unit as well as standard and technological machines for the general market.
Together with chief financial officer Andreas Meinz, who reports directly to professor Mo I. Meidar, Dr. Heiner Lang and Michael Heinz constitute the operative management. “By consolidating our organizational structure, we will meet the company’s rapid growth and market demands for advanced technology.”
“By appointing Lang as president Europe and Asia, we answer to the crucial importance of these growth markets for the MAG group. By strengthening the Service business unit under Mr. Heinz’ direction, we intend to promote this expanding unit on a sustainable basis”, said professor Mo I. Meidar, chief executive officer of MAG Group.
MAG intends to continue to grow in this key market, particularly in Asia. The Service business unit will become increasingly important within the group.
