Participating dealers can now upload their Forney Web Store order with just a few keystrokes. In place of navigating between online catalog pages and a manual-ordering window, buyers can now order products from a single, condensed CSV window. Individual part numbers are confirmed automatically, and with a single click, the order is instantly uploaded to the server as a single batch order.

Forney Industries (Fort Collins, CO) announces Express Upload©, an exclusive new e-commerce application that eases and accelerates the online ordering process.

“Express Upload is the result of feedback we received from our customers,” said Steve Anderson, the president and chief executive officer for Forney Industries. “Our customers need ease and flexibility to order online, the ability to upload numerous items with a single keystroke is very important. This service is the fastest way to generate orders while providing them the option to save orders for future submission.”

The Express Upload ecommerce application saves the completed order into a .CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, which is instantly submitted and can be saved for local record and viewed on spreadsheet software eliminating the paper trail. Another valuable feature is the option to suspend the ordering process, saving the partially completed order in Ready-To-Place condition for completion later.

“The bottom line is, Forney’s Express Upload has saved us time and has insured accuracy in every order. We have needed this and are relieved that Forney has brought it to their customers. It has changed the way we do business,” said Phil Barnes, a purchaser for Hovis Auto and Truck Supply (Erie, PA).

Users will realize the following benefits from the streamlined system:

  • Faster checkout process, especially for dealers with larger carts
  • Larger overall cart capacity
  • More control over the process, with time-insensitive Ready-To-Place function
  • Eliminated part number ambiguity
  • Compatibility across different machines and browsers (for logged in members)
