Hartwig Hosts March Madness Open House

This event will showcase Okuma, Hardinge, Tsugami machine tools, Hexagon Metrology’s Romer and Brown & Sharpe lines of inspection equipment, and Hartwig’s own Engineering Solutions for turnkey systems and manufacturing cell design.

Representatives from Hartwig as well as machine builders will be on hand to field questions regarding the equipment and how it applies to today’s manufacturing needs. Also, tooling suppliers, such as Autonetics, Caron Engineering, Edge Technologies, Esprit, Hexagon Metrology, Kennametal, Koma, MP Systems, Sandvik, Velocity/SU-matic and Industrial Equipment Capital will be on hand to field questions as well.

Hartwig Inc. (St. Louis, M) will be hosting an annual March Machine Madness Open House on Tuesday, March 11th and Wednesday, March 12th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The event will be held at the company’s St. Louis facility, located at 10617 Trenton Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63132.

This event will showcase Okuma, Hardinge, Tsugami machine tools, Hexagon Metrology’s Romer and Brown & Sharpe lines of inspection equipment, and Hartwig’s own Engineering Solutions for turnkey systems and manufacturing cell design. A variety of live cutting and inspection demonstrations will be on display for attendees to experience and learn how they can optimize their manufacturing process.

On Tuesday, March 11th at 9:00 a.m. former Okuma president Larry Schwartz will be presenting a seminar on Improving Shop Productivity.

This short video provides a complete understanding on who Hartwig is, their principles, and their core concepts.

This might be a new way of looking at tooling, an improved programming process, or an innovative way of tracking production,” said Craig Jung, the division president for Hartwig Inc. “We encourage shops to attend this event to get a firsthand look at how technologies are being used in the industry and how they can be applied to their current process to increase throughput.”

Lunch and refreshments will be served and there will also be prize drawings throughout each day.
